Caroline told me Mo's story .. and kindly sent me the 2 extra photos to illustrate it .. ahh!
'Mo was the first pig we took showing, I loved watching Neil show her, as she is such a character, never puts a foot out of place and behaves so well, that is until she is no longer the centre of your attention at which point she takes off as fast as she can in the opposite direction. At home Mo is affectionate, kind, a good mother and always pleased to see us she likes to roll over for a belly rub! If anything goes wrong at home, Mo usually has some part to play in it, but always appears to be innocent, and looks at you with it wasn’t me! With her first litter of piglets, Mo decided her pen and hut was not up to expectant mother standards, she is a pig that knows what she wants, she escaped that morning and with frantic searching around the field and lots of shouting her name, she eventually stood up from her home made nest and came over to us, she then proceeded to walk back to her nest refusing to move from there. Mo could not have her piglets where she was so we got the stock trailer, as soon as we opened the trailer ramp Mo marched straight in, and within the hour had delivered her first piglet. Mo is very special to us and won a place in our heart, this lovely painting will be with us as a constant reminder of such a great pig it captures her character so well, thank you'.
